Person Offers Boy Ride On Way To Vienna Bus Stop: Police

A parent saw the vehicle stop as his son was walking to his bus stop, according to police.

VIENNA, VA — Vienna Police believe a person offered a ride to a juvenile at a school bus stop on Wednesday, Sept. 25.

The boy's father was watching as the juvenile headed to the bus stop around 6:40 a.m. in the area of MacArthur Avenue and John Marshall Drive NE. A woman in a vehicle stopped and asked the boy if he needed a ride. The boy declined, and the vehicle drove off toward the MacArthur Avenue and McKinley Street NE intersection.

The father called him to ask about the incident and was not able to locate the vehicle. There was no description of the person or vehicle.

September 22 6:25 p.m.
A citizen parked his bicycle outside of the Exxon while he ran in to make a purchase. When he returned, he found his bicycle had been taken.

Between September 23 at 8:00 p.m. and September 25 at 10:00 p.m.
An unknown person forced entry into two of the residents’ property lockers in the basement of the
condominiums. Tools were taken from one of the lockers.

Crash - 100 Block Church Street, NE 19-009935

September 24 3:00 p.m.
Vehicle-2, a bicyclist, was traveling eastbound on Church Street. Vehicle-1 was exiting the parking lot at 115 Church Street, NE. and struck Vehicle-2. Rescue responded and treated Driver-2. Driver-2 refused transport to the hospital.
