Police Chase Results In DWI Arrest Near Vienna Metro
A police pursuit near the Vienna Metro led to an intoxicated driver arrest, Fairfax County Police say.

VIENNA, VA—A police chase near the Vienna/Fairfax Metro Station resulted in a drunk driver arrest early Friday morning.
Around 2 a.m., a Fairfax County officer attempted to pull over a car on Interstate 66 near Nutley Street. The driver did not stop, resulting in a chase.

Timothy Timmons, 28, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, and eluding.
The arrest comes a day after a more high-profile police chase on I-66. Police say a motorcyclist refused to stop and hit speeds up to 100 miles near Route 28 in Centreville. The motorcyclist then fled into a wooded area, where police found him and took him into custody. Rudine L. Puckett, 25, of Tennessee was arrested and charged with eluding police and reckless driving.
