Police: Vienna Bank Robbed by Masked Men at Gunpoint
Tuesday incident took place at bank on Maple Avenue West.

A Vienna bank was robbed by two masked men at gunpoint Tuesday, the Vienna Police Department noted Friday in the department’s weekly crime report.
On Tuesday, Jan. 20, at approximately 2:53 p.m., two men entered the Bank of America located at 235 Maple Avenue West in Vienna, and robbed the bank.
The Northern Virginia area has seen an uptick in bank robberies in the past two months, but recently apprehended a suspect in several robberies in Reston.

Both subjects brandished weapons. One subject demanded money from the bank tellers. The subjects fled on foot to a nearby vehicle headed in the direction of Church Street.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification, arrest and conviction of these bank robbers.
