VIENNA, VA — Vienna will soon say goodbye to Rose Kabob Restaurant, a Middle Eastern restaurant opened in 2007. The restaurant announced on its website the last day will be Sunday, Nov. 13.

Owner Hassan Mostafavi wrote that the restaurant will close so he could travel and spend time with family and friends. The family-owned restaurant specializes in various kabobs as well as vegetarian offerings like its eggplant dip and rice dishes.

Mostafavi said the restaurant team has enjoyed serving customers and making new friends over the years in business.

"Please never stop supporting local business," Mostafavi wrote. "It is the fabric of our community. It is the strength of our local economy."

Rose Kabob Restaurant is located at 126 Maple Ave West, Vienna, VA. Hours are 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
