Seeking Old Photos of Vienna

Historic Vienna Would Like to Copy Your Photos

With the 125 Anniversary of the Town of Vienna rapidly approaching, Historic Vienna, Inc. (we operate the Freeman Store and Museum) is seeking old photos taken in Vienna, VA of events, buildings, businesses, people, parties, the railroad, trolleys, vehicles, World War II, parades or whatever? “OLD photos” means anything from the 19th Century (its possible) and certainly the first half of the 20th Century, but we’re even willing to look at later 20th Century photos if really interesting. The photo with this article is of Maplewood Manor, a magnificent house built in the 1870s that once stood in the area, and was demolished about 100 years later.

We are interested in photos that haven’t been seen before. Color or black and white, and even transparencies would do. If you have any, please let us know. You can come by the Freeman Store and Museum (131 Church Street, NE) any time we are open - Wednesday through Sunday, Noon to 4 PM, or call and leave a message - 703-938-5187.
