Shake Shack To Open Standalone Pike 7 Plaza Location In Tysons

TYSONS, VA — While Tysons Corner Center shoppers can already feast on Shake Shack burgers and crinkle-cut fries, a standalone location will be opening nearby.

Shake Shack will open at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Pike 7 Plaza shopping center, 8350 Leesburg Pike, Vienna, VA. This is Shake Shack's fifth Northern Virginia location, joining others in Tysons Corner Center, Pentagon City, Ballston, and Chantilly's Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center.

The new location includes a drive-up window for pickup orders. Pre-ordering is available for pickup and delivery through the Shack app, and online ordering will be launched in the coming weeks at order.shakeshack.com.

The first guests on opening day can expect giveaways like custom Shake Shack mugs, Pop-sockets and stickers. Shake Shack will donate $1 for every sandwich sold on Feb. 21 to Northern Virginia Family Service, which provides resources to help residents become self-sufficient.

Shake Shack, first opened in 2004 in NYC’s Madison Square Park, has expanded to over 500 locations, including in 33 U.S. states, the District of Columbia and international locations like London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Mexico City, Istanbul, Dubai, Tokyo and Seoul. The restaurant is known for its ShackBurger, chicken, crinkle-cut fries, shakes, custard and more. The new Pike 7 location will serve its regular menu as well as a limited-time Korean-style menu, featuring a Korean style fried chicken sandwich, Korean BBQ burger, and spicy Korean BBQ fries.
