Small Business Saturday: Where To Shop In Vienna (ICYMI)

VIENNA, VA—If you're shopping for holiday gifts, consider shopping at some of Vienna's fine local businesses. Consumers are encouraged to shop local on Small Business Saturday, which falls on Nov. 25 this year.

A number of Vienna businesses will offer special promotions during the day. Those confirmed to participate are:

American Express launched Small Business Saturday to encourage shoppers to support small businesses hurting from the recession. Since then, Small Business Saturday has turned into an annual event featuring businesses across the country.

In 2016, shoppers spent an estimated $15.4 billion at small, independent business on Small Business Saturday, according to American Express.
