Virginia gave wins to Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump. How did Fairfax County vote?

Editor's note: We've fixed an earlier error that had statewide results instead of county results in the Republican primary. Marcio Rubio was the winner, with 40 percent, in Fairfax County.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Did voters in Fairfax County follow the state results?
Super Tuesday results offered big wins for Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, each winning seven states, including Virginia.

How did Fairfax County vote on Super Tuesday? The County's voting closely followed the state overall, giving 63 percent of its votes to Clinton, 1 percent lower than the state's overall total of 64 percent for Clinton. Sanders did a little better in the County than in the state overall, getting 36.43 percent in Fairfax County versus 35 percent overall.

Clinton visited Fairfax County on Monday, holding a rally at George Mason University. Sanders also visited the university, in October.
Fairfax County went for Marco Rubio, giving him 40 percent of the vote vs statewide results that went for Trump (34.84 percent); Virginia overall gave Rubio 31.99 percent, putting him in a close second place behind Trump.
Here's the breakdown from the elections office:
Democratic Primary
With 100 percent of the County's 243 precincts reporting, in the Democratic Primary here are the unofficial results from the Virginia Department of Elections:
- Hillary Clinton: 86,898 votes or 63.04 percent
- Bernie Sanders: 50,217 votes or 36.43 percent
- Martin O'Malley: 726 votes or .53 percent
Republican Primary
With all of Fairfax County's 243 precincts reporting, in the Republican Primary, here's the breakdown:
- Marco Rubio: 52,711 votes or 40 percent
- Donald Trump: 33,063 votes or 25.09 percent
- John Kasich: 23,066 votes or 17.51 percent
- Ted Cruz: 17, 031 votes or 12.93 percent
- Ben Carson: 4,123 votes or 3.13 percent
