The annual celebration of Vienna's restaurants, Taste of Vienna, will be held this weekend.
VIENNA, VA – The annual Taste of Vienna food festival is this Saturday, April 25, and neighbors are invited again to the free celebration of Vienna's food culture.
Hosted as always by the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department, the day-long festival will have options for hungry and thirsty folks of all ages.
According to organizers, there are 32 food vendors and 10 food trucks participating this year, offering visitors everything from crepes and donuts to empanadas, momo dumplings, lobster rolls, birria, ice cream, and more.

Five live bands will provide entertainment and there will be a moon bounce and face painter for kids, and chief sponsor Wolf Trap will be on hand to tell visitors about their summer schedule.
Musical performances will start at 11 a.m. with the Five Leaf Clovers. Just after 2 p.m., the bravest and hungriest will battle to see who can tear through a slice of the Carnegie Diner’s 24-layer chocolate cake in hopes of winning a $1,000 gift card to Carnegie, a $500 check, and a (not chocolate-stained, we hope) tee shirt. Forks will be flying.
The Vienna Volunteer Fire Department uses the event proceeds to fund its building and equipment, event organizer Lauren Stancampiano explained. They also host bingo nights and mahjong tournaments as fundraisers, as well as the Fieldhouse Classic golf tournament.
The event will be held rain or shine at the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department parking lot at 400 Center Street South.
