Tropical Smoothie Cafe to Open Tuesday

VIENNA, VA -- Residents looking for a taste of the tropics will be in for a treat, as Tropical Smoothie Café, located near the Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro Station at 2672 Avenir Place (see map below), will open its doors Tuesday.

The restaurant will open its doors Tuesday at 6 a.m. The restaurant, part of a national chain, will be open daily.

Hours will be:

• Monday - Friday: 6 am - 9 pm
• Saturday: 8am-9 pm
• Sunday: 8 am - 8 pm

The eatery offers up made-to-order real-fruit smoothies, as well as hand-crafted toasted sandwiches, flatbreads, wraps, salads and more.

“Tropical Smoothie Café is a unique brand, with a bold, fresh, flavorful menu which is what attracted us to the business,” said Trung Tang, franchisee owner and local resident.

The brand new 1,200 square-foot café employs 20 local team members. The café will also offer catering, online ordering and delivery.
