Update: Vienna Shooting, Stabbing: Victims Identified

BREAKING: A Vienna mother of a disabled child and a man are dead in a suspected murder-suicide Sunday night.

(Updated 4:12 p.m. Monday) VIENNA, VA — Two people are dead in a shooting and stabbing Sunday night, Vienna Police say. The incidents are domestic-related and a suspected murder-suicide.

Around 6:49 p.m., Vienna Police responded to a report of an injured woman at the 100 block of Oak Street SW. The woman was found with trauma to the upper body. Sabrina Titus, 47, was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Not long after, police responded to a report of shots fired around 6:56 p.m. at the 100 block of Ross Drive. Police found Ralph Titus, 53, dead inside the home. Police say Ralph and Sabrina Titus were divorced and had two children. The children were not injured. Extended family will care for the children, and Fairfax County Victim Services will provide additional support. Neighbors told NBC Washington that the woman lived with the two children, including a disabled child.

The investigation is open until the Office of the Medical Examiner conducts autopsies. Fairfax County Police has assisted with the investigation. To report information, call the Vienna Police Department at 703-255-6366.
