Tysons Biergarten Sets Opening Date

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- It looks like a highly anticipated new beer garden in the area has an opening date.

Tysons Biergarten grand opening is set for Saturday, June 4, the company has announced on its Facebook page.

The restaurant and beer garden, located at 8346 Leesburg Pike, has started training its staff, last week, and will continue with a "soft opening" from Tuesday until Friday, June 3.

"We welcome all to come in, critique and help us perfect every last detail. Stop by, have a bier and a bite to eat and let us know how we can improve!"

The new beer garden is located just outside the Silver Line's Greensboro Metro stop.

The venue will feature a 5,000 square-foot patio and a menu featuring sausages, bratwurst, warm pretzels and of course, beer. Look for German beer and local craft brews, according to Biergarten's Web site. And also wine.

Hours will be 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
