Vienna Employer Named A Top Workplace For 2018
A company in the Vienna area made the top 10 of The Washington Post's new workplace rankings.

VIENNA, VA—A Vienna employer is among the top workplaces in the region, according to The Washington Post's newest ranking.
The Post ranked 150 companies based on the highest ratings from employees. After the public nominated companies with at least 50 employees in the fall, 2,807 DC area employers were invited to take an employee survey. The survey looked at 24 factors, from effectiveness to managers and engagement. 341 companies in all took the survey.
ActioNet, an information technology contractor in the Dunn Loring-Merrifield area, was ranked eighth on the list. The company has 918 local employees and 1,600 total employees. Founded in 1998, clients include federal agencies like the transportation and energy departments.

One ActioNet employee wrote in the survey, "I'm able to work for a strong company and support a federal agency I love."
