Vienna Grocery Store Hours On Thanksgiving

VIENNA, VA—Even after several trips to the store this week, it's almost a guarantee that someone will still have to run out for last-minute purchases of dinner rolls, whipped cream, wine or stuffing mix. Which grocery stores will be open on Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 23, and how about Black Friday, if you need to stock up to feed guests?

Some food stores in the region — Giant, Wegmans, Whole Foods and Safeway — are open on Thanksgiving, but close early, so check on individual stores for their hours. The day after, most return to normal operating hours. Other chains, including ALDI and Costco, are closed for the holiday. (See full list below.)

To help you know your go-to stores over the upcoming holiday, we have open and closed hours for stores, plus links to their websites. Here's a list of Thanksgiving and Black Friday hours for Vienna area grocery stores, taken from their websites and emails to Patch. Some stores may vary.

• The Fresh Market: 150 Branch Road SE Vienna, VA 22180. Hours: 7 a.m.-3 p.m.
• Giant: Vienna Shopping Center, 359 Maple Avenue East, Vienna, VA 22180. Hours: 6 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Whole Foods: 143 Maple Ave E, Vienna, VA 22180. Hours: 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
• Harris Teeter: 2675 Avenir Pl, Dunn Loring, Vienna, VA 22180. Stores will close at 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving. Stores will be open normal hours on Friday, Nov. 24.
• Aldi: 11001 Lee Highway, Suite G Fairfax, VA 22030-5018. Closed on Thanksgiving.
• MOM's Organic Market: Mosaic District, 8298 Glass Alley, Fairfax, VA 22031. Closed on Thanksgiving.
• Walmart: 1500 B Cornerside Blvd, Vienna, VA 22182. Open regular hours and will unveil Black Friday deals at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23.
• Costco: 4725 West Ox Rd, Fairfax, VA 22030. Closed on Thanksgiving.
