Vienna Inn Gears Up For 62nd Anniversary Celebration

VIENNA, VA — For 62 years, the Vienna Inn has been a mainstay for the Vienna community, providing a popular gathering space and cheap eats, particularly its famous chili dogs. In February, Vienna Inn is celebrating that anniversary with specials, contests and events.

"After spending the past 2 years operating and making it through a pandemic, we are looking forward to celebrating," said Marty Volk, owner of Vienna Inn. "It’s great to see the families and teams back in again."

The restaurant opened in 1960, and not much has changed in the way of its vintage charm, famous chili dogs, and support for the community. Of course, some of the restaurant's early customers are now bringing their children and grandchildren.

Aside from being a popular gathering spot, the Vienna Inn has been a strong supporter of local sports teams and other local causes. That support is evident in the local sports memorabilia proudly displayed on the walls.

Regular visitors are familiar with the Vienna Inn's traditions: customers pay on an honor system, and the non-alcoholic drinks are self-serve. The chili dog is the most popular item with over 10,000 sold each month. The Vienna Inn's menu also includes breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, salads, entrées and more.

For the 62nd anniversary, there will be Vienna Inn gifts and meal deals for kids 12 and under Sundays through Thursdays in February. Other activities include weekly social media contests, giveaways on National Chili Day, and a food drive to benefit Food for Others with $2 dogs for all participants.

Vienna Inn has also set a goal to sell 62 gift cards worth $10 each to be distributed to first responders. Customers have the choice to add a $10 gift card to their check that will go to first responders.
