Prost! Vienna Oktoberfest To Return After 2022 Cancellation
After hurricane remnants caused a 2022 cancellation, Vienna Oktoberfest is slated to return for a 14th year.

VIENNA, VA — Get out your dirndl and lederhosen, because Vienna Oktoberfest will return in 2023 with its largest festival yet.
Vienna Oktoberfest had been cancelled in 2022 due to Hurricane Ian remnants causing safety concerns. Assuming no hurricanes will spoil this year's plans, the event will happen this year on Saturday, Oct. 7 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. along historic Church Street.
The event hosted by the Vienna Business Association and the Town of Vienna typically has tens of thousands of attendees. In 2023, the event will grow with more vendors and more food along with music and entertainment, children's activities, and local beer and wine. Admission is free, although there is a cost to purchase food and drinks.

Volunteers are needed to help with running the event. Volunteers who work five or more hours will receive a meal voucher.
Vienna Oktoberfest attendees are encouraged to use the town's public parking options. There will also be a shuttle serving Vienna Metro North and Madison High School (door 11) between 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. The festival drop-off location is Ayr Hill Avenue NE and Dominion Road NE.
