One Man, Two Guvnors is an English rewrite of the Italian classic, The Servant of Two Masters. A hilarious comedy set in 1963 Brighton, England, out-of-work skiffle band player Francis becomes separately employed by two men – Roscoe, a small time East End hood, and Stanley Stubbers, an upper class twit. Francis tries to keep the two from meeting, in order to avoid each of them learning that Francis works for both of them. Complicating events and twists involving twins, disguises, zany characters, food, love, silliness and audience participation sort out in the end
