Vienna Theatre Company premieres its Theater for Young Audiences initiative with a magical production of Cinderella with with two matinee performances on both Jan 25 and Feb 2. VTC hopes to bring enjoyable, accessible, fun theatre to children and to encourage a lifetime engagement with theatre.

The story of Brother Grimms Cinderella has been charming children and adults alike for ages. This interactive, energetic and non-traditional version by Ruth Newton of the beloved fairy tale emphasizes audience participation. Come sneer at the wicked stepmother and her two rotten daughters as they try to foil our heroine’s plans for happily ever after. Cheer as Cindy learns the difference between a pumpkin and a zucchini. Help the Fairy Godmother because her magic is rusty and she needs practice and reassurance. Find out if a pumpkin can really turn into a beautiful carriage.
