Vienna Tops List Of 'Most Successful Cities In Virginia'
A number of factors contributed to Vienna's high ranking among Virginia cities.
VIENNA, VA—Residents can probably list a number of reasons why living in Vienna is so great, but data can back those up too. Vienna was recently ranked number one among "Most Successful Cities in Virginia" by career expert website Zippia.
The rankings are based on the median household income, unemployment rate and poverty level based on the 2010-2014 American Community Survey. All three factored into a "success score."
Vienna did well in all three categories with an above average median income of $133,776, low poverty rate of 3.2 percent and low unemployment rate of 3.6 percent. With all of these in mind, it makes sense that Vienna is a wonderful place to live, right?

The study looked at 62 cities with more than 5,000 people in Virginia. Nearby, Falls Church, Fairfax and Herndon were among the top cities too.
