VIENNA, VA — Walk on the Hill has been a 51-year tradition in Vienna, allowing visitors to get a glimpse inside the gardens of the Windover Heights Historic District.

The 51st annual Walk on the Hill will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. A map of participating gardens for the self-guided walking tour is now available.

The Ayr Hill Garden Club and residents started the Walk on the Hill in the 1970s to highlight the character of the historic Windover Heights neighborhood, which has been maintained and improved through renovations and additions. Today, Historic Vienna, Inc. co-sponsors the event with residents.
