VIENNA, VA — Wolf Trap's annual Holiday Sing-A-Long is going virtual this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event typically features live holiday carols with an instrumental performance by "The President’s Own" United States Marine Band and over 500 local singers on stage at the Filene Center. This year, two pre-recorded performances will launch on Dec. 5 and 19. The performances will be free and available to view throughout the holidays.

The Wolf Trap Holiday Sing-A-Long From Home featuring the United States Marine Band will be recorded at The Barns at Wolf Trap with special appearances by Frosty, Rudolph and Wolfie, taped in Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts and a surprise visit from Santa. The show will showcase traditional carols and popular favorites, ending with a version of "Deck the Halls." Viewers will be able to sing along from home, as the video provides "bouncing ball" captioning.
