Firefighters Respond to Woodbridge House Fire, Find Body
A person was found dead inside a Woodbridge house by Prince William County Department of Fire & Rescue personnel Tuesday morning.
WOODBRIDGE, VA — A person was found dead inside a Woodbridge house by Prince William County Department of Fire & Rescue personnel Tuesday morning, according to the county police department. When they arrived at the house in the 12800 block of Silvia Loop around 4:40 a.m. in response to a house fire, fire crews found the person's body inside the residence.
The person's body was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Manassas for an autopsy, the Prince William County Police Department said Tuesday. The person's name will be released once confirmed and the person's next-of-kin has been notified.
The investigation into the death and the cause of the fire are being investigated by Prince William County police detectives, the county Department of Fire & Rescue, and the Fire Marshal’s Office.
