WOODBRIDGE, VA — Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's robbery unit on Thursday identified a second suspect involved in a March 14 robbery of a Wawa in Woodbridge. The detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of the suspect, identified as Todd Christopher Lawson, 51, of Alexandria. Attempts to locate Lawson, who is wanted for robbery, have been unsuccessful, the police said.

The D.C. Metropolitan Police Department arrested the first suspect, Delfino Alexander Ramirez, 36, Sunday in connection with the March 14 robbery and a March 30 larceny at a Sheetz in Woodbridge. The suspect was jailed in D.C. and is awaiting extradition to Prince William County to face charges of robbery and larceny, according to the police.

On March 14 at 1:35 a.m., Ramirez allegedly entered the Wawa on Daniel Stuart Square in Woodbridge and walked behind the counter. During the encounter, Ramirez allegedly took tobacco products and fled the store. An employee followed him out of the store and confronted him. At that point, Ramirez allegedly brandished a knife before fleeing in a silver sedan, according to the police. No injuries were reported.
