Police: Robbery Suspects Are on the Loose

Pair mugged Triangle man Tuesday night, say Prince William County police.

Prince William County police are looking for two men who robbed a Triangle man on Tuesday night in Woodbridge.

At 10:12 p.m., officers responded to the report of a robbery in the 16900 block of McGuffeys Trail, according to a police report. The 44-year-old victim told police that he made arrangements to meet with an acquaintance near the River Oak Community House, in the area of McGuffeys Trail.

Once he got there, the acquaintance was in the company of another man, the victim said. During the encounter, the two men assaulted the victim before displaying a handgun and robbing him of money, police said. Minor injuries were reported.

  • A black male, between 35 and 40 years of age, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with a thin build, dark complexion and short black hair.
  • A white male, between 30 and 40 years of age, 6 feet tall and weighing 250 pounds with a medium build.
