Ramming Vehicle With Children Inside Leads to Arrest in Woodbridge: Police

The Nov. 20 incident followed a domestic argument, according to Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — A man who rammed a vehicle into a another vehicle with two young children inside a little more than a week ago following a domestic dispute was arrested Monday, according to Prince William County Police.

Stephen Decarlos Ford, 44, of the 4300 block of Kenwood Drive, was charged with three counts of malicious wounding, two counts of child endangerment, one count of hit and run, one count of petit larceny and one count of driving on a suspended license.

Shortly after 10 p.m. on Nov. 20, police responded to a call from the victim, who told them this:

She got into a fight with Ford and then left with her two kids, a 6-year-old girl and a boy, 2. Ford, police say, followed her vehicle and when it stopped at her work place, rammed into it twice.

The woman and her kids escaped, ran to a nearby business and called the cops.

Ford fled, but not before stealing the victim's phone and wallet from her vehicle.
