On March 14 at 1:35 a.m., Ramirez allegedly entered the Wawa on Daniel Stuart Square in Woodbridge and walked behind the counter. During the encounter, Ramirez allegedly took tobacco products and fled the store. An employee followed him out of the store and confronted him. At that point, Ramirez allegedly brandished a knife before fleeing in a silver sedan, according to the police. No injuries were reported.
Prince William County police detectives said another suspect was involved in the March 14 robbery at Wawa. On April 9, the police determined the second suspect who entered and left the store just before the robbery occurred and allegedly fled with Ramirez was Lawson.
