Walmart Abduction Confirmed as Prank in Woodbridge: Police
The so-called victim was filming a video with two friends to post on YouTube. No charges will be filed, say Prince William County Police.

WOODBRIDGE, VA — Turns out the abduction witnesses saw and surveillance cameras recorded last Friday night in front of the Walmart on Worth Avenue wasn't an abduction at all, Prince William County Police said Tuesday.
Police had been suspicious of the circumstances all along, and they identified the man who was abducted and thrown into the trunk of a car (above) by two men as an 18-year-old Woodbridge resident who was playing a prank with two friends.
Police say they filmed it to later post and YouTube, and added that because no criminal activity occurred, no charges will be filed.

They went back and looked at additional surveillance camera footage earlier this week that showed all three individuals, included the alleged victim, re-enter the store about five minutes after the initial counter.
The victim didn't appear to be in distress or make any attempt to get away from the two suspects, and they didn't leave the Walmart for another 40 minutes.
