Woodbridge Man Charged With Assaulting Police Officers
Fight occurred during domestic dispute, say Prince William County police.

A Woodbridge man is in jail after getting into a fight on Thursday night with police officers during a domestic dispute.

Jerelle Rashod Littles, 23, of 2938 Wetherburn Court, has been charged with two counts of assault and battery on a law enforcement officer and one count of resisting arrest, according to the Prince William County police. He’s being held without bond at the Prince William-Manassas Regional Jail, and his next date in court is pending.
At 11:45 p.m. Thursday, police officers responded to a domestic altercation to the 2900 block of Wetherburn Court in Woodbridge. During their investigation of the incident, Littles assaulted the two officers and actively resisted arrest, police said.

Littles was arrested after struggling with the officers, and there were minor injuries reported to one officer. The initial domestic altercation was determined to only be verbal, with no physical assault taking place, police said.
