Biden Pulls Ahead Of Sanders After Second Washington Ballot Count
The top Democratic candidates were separated by less than two points after updated totals were released Wednesday afternoon.

SEATTLE, WA — Joe Biden has pulled ahead of Bernie Sanders after the second round of ballots were tabulated Wednesday. Washington was one of two states out of the six who voted Tuesday where Sanders held a lead over Biden on election night. Sanders was declared the winner of the primary in North Dakota Wednesday morning.
Washington was the second-biggest prize of the night, with 89 pledged delegates at-stake.
Biden now leads Sanders by nearly a full point in King County, flipping the early results in the state's most populous county, where Sanders led Biden by a similar margin Tuesday night.
