Heroin, Meth And A Gun Seized From West Seattle Home
SPD says 200+ grams of heroin were found nestled between some waffles and ice cream

SEATTLE — Seattle Police Department's Narcotics Unit teamed up with the DEA to serve a drug warrant in West Seattle over the weekend, finding a trove of illegal drugs in the freezer. Seattle Police said a team of officers arrived at the 900 block of Southwest Holden Street early Saturday evening, a day after the 52-year-old man who lived there was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.

Inside the apartment, police said they found more than 1,400 grams of methamphetamine, more than 50 grams of cocaine, 41 grams of oxycodone and over 200 grams of black tar heroin, which was in the freezer. Elsewhere in the home, investigators said they found a handgun and almost $40,000 in cash. Officers also found a cat in the apartment and gave it food and water before leaving.
Police said the 52-year-old suspect was already on federal probation and is being held at the King County Jail.
