Suspect In Burning Of Man In Seattle Still At-Large: Police

Kasey Busch was doused with gasoline and set on fire in Seattle on Nov. 7.

SEATTLE, WA - After almost a month, that suspect police believe set another man on fire in the Fremont-Ballard area in Seattle remains on the loose. Police believe that Christopher Burrus, 31, doused Kasey Busch, 39, with gas and then lit him on fire on Nov. 7.

Busch survived the attack and, according to his family, is recovering well at Harborview Medical Center. According to Busch's family, Burrus had a "vendetta" against Busch and so he allegedly doused Busch with gasoline and then threw a flare at him. The attack happened along the 4500 block of Leary Way, an area between the Fremont and Ballard neighborhoods known as "Frelard."

"Kasey lives with the courage, tenacity and big heart we all know and love him for. He is healing but experiences an incredible amount of pain constantly. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him and needs your love and support," his family wrote on Busch's GoFundMe fundraiser page.

The family is trying to raise $30,000 for Busch's medical bills.

Seattle police are asking anyone who sees Burrus to call 911. There is an attempted homicide warrant out for his arrest.

Burrus recently appeared on Washington's Most Wanted.
