• Hollowell Dawkins Foundation Announces 2026 Grant Awards - West Virginia Daily News (wvdn.com) — A Lewisburg-based foundation has awarded more than $803,000 in 2026 grants to 59 area organizations, including the City of Lewisburg, local fire companies, schools, and nonprofits. Residents and groups can already prepare applications for the next grant cycle, which are due by April 1, 2027, and must be submitted on paper to the Washington Street East office in Lewisburg. 
• Select City National Bank locations to offer discounted State Fair of West Virginia tickets (lootpress.com) — Lewisburg residents can snag discounted admission and ride passes for the 101st State Fair of West Virginia, which returns to the fairgrounds in town August 13–22. Select City National Bank branches are selling reduced-price tickets and Mega Passes through July 31, giving locals a cheaper way to plan their fair visits.
