Miller being named a Distinguished Fellow of the American Osteopathic Academy of Addiction Medicine, one of the field’s top honors. Working with the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, she leads the S.H.I.N.E. addiction treatment program and advises statewide efforts to address opioid use disorder. Her recognition underscores Lewisburg’s growing role in rural addiction medicine.
   

• West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine students see 100% placement for fourth year in a row (woay.com) — Lewisburg’s West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine has achieved a 100% residency placement rate for its Class of 2026 for the fourth straight year, with 181 graduates moving into physician training. Thirty-four will stay in West Virginia hospitals, strengthening care across the state. School leaders credit students’ hard work and say they’re confident these new doctors will serve communities well.
