• Preston County board reviews rising school attendance and transportation updates (wvnews.com) — Terra Alta families are seeing strong school attendance, with Terra Alta’s average daily rate nearing 95% and chronic absenteeism dropping, according to the latest Preston County school board report. The board also confirmed Terra Alta as a free summer meal pickup site for kids, and reviewed countywide bus operations, fuel costs, and a recent safety concern involving a Preston High School student.
