Caleb Hawley to Play at American Idol Rejects Concert in Minneapolis
Hudson High School graduate Caleb Hawley, who was cut from American Idol in the Las Vegas round, will perform in the area Thursday along with other Idol rejects.

Musician and former Hudson resident Caleb Hawley captured the hearts of many people around the country and right here in Hudson when he appeared on American Idol in January and February.
The show brought him . On Thursday, April 14, he'll team up with some of his fellow American Idol rejects for a concert in Minneapolis.
Hawley said the following in an email newsletter sent to his fans in the Minneapolis area:

"I'm sorry if I let you down by getting cut in the Vegas round of Idol, but the whole experience has led to great things, such as an American Idol Rejects show I'll be putting on in just a couple of weeks! ... We will be playing all the songs we did on the show, plus some of our own. There will also be performances by other Minneapolis contestants who got the axe in Hollywood."
The show will take place at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, at Bunkers in Minneapolis (761 N. Washington Ave.). Tickets will be available at the door for $7.

If you miss that show, you'll have to wait until late summer to see him. Hawley said he is scheduled to perform in Hudson at the Lakefront Park bandshell in August.
