Here are the top 3 stories in Madison today:
- Madison Police have arrested one man in an alleged stabbing incident that occurred this weekend. Police were called to the 10 block of Malibu Drive just after 7 p.m. on Saturday for reports of a stabbing and found a 38-year-old woman with non-life-threatening head injuries. A 33-year-old man was located and arrested on multiple charges related to the incident. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
- The University of Wisconsin-Madison notified students of COVID-19 testing recommendations in an email Thursday afternoon. The university asks that students test before traveling to Dane County, as well as once they arrive in Dane County. The testing expectation follows a surge of omicron variant cases across the nation. (Daily Cardinal)
- Volunteers with the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County distributed meals and high-quality masks to community members on Saturday. The club hosted a Martin Luther King Jr. Weekend community meal and mask pickup at three of its locations. Everyone who attended the event received 10 N-95 masks. (Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3)
