Emergency crews responded on scene and transported the competitor to a local hospital, where they later died, and organizers are withholding further details to respect the family's privacy.

Sama, Dupree rush for TDs as Wisconsin beats Western Illinois 36-9 in home opener (mininggazette.com) — Wisconsin's home opener in Madison saw Abu Sama III and Damon Dupree rush for touchdowns as the Badgers beat Western Illinois 36-9, backed by strong special teams and a long field goal.
