Fire Danger 'Very High' Amid Dry Heat: WI Weather

MILWAUKEE — Southern Wisconsin will see more dry and warm weather this week. More than half of the state is currently under "very high" fire danger, according to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.

"Warmth continues today, with southwest breezes. Clouds should clear during the afternoon," the National Weather Service said.

"Be mindful of potential burn restrictions issued by the WI DNR as we head into this stretch of warm weather and low dewpoints."

Rain and cooler temperatures will arrive this weekend.
