MILWAUKEE — Wisconsinites might get a taste of winter, but it'll arrive on the second day of spring.

A snowstorm on track to hit Milwaukee later this week has the "potential" to drop between 3 to 6 inches of accumulating snow, according to AccuWeather.

The storm "will draw in cold air and result in the first snowfall in weeks," the outlet's latest forecast notes.

The National Weather Service has not yet released any specific amounts for the upcoming snowstorm, but notes that: "Thursday's system will bring measurable snow and much-needed precipitation to the region."

Snow is also likely on Friday and possibly this weekend.
