Waukesha Absentee Voting 2018: When, Where To Vote

Your completed absentee ballot must be delivered to the municipal clerk no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day.

WAUKESHA, WI -- Against a backdrop of political divisiveness and entrenched partisanship in Wisconsin and a number of key local, state and federal races, the first votes to be cast for the upcoming Nov. 6 elections will be cast on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018. Any eligible Wisconsin voter can vote by absentee ballot for each election. Absentee voting can be done by mail or in-person in the clerk’s office.

In the City of Waukesha, you can do in-person absentee voting right at City Hall. Your completed absentee ballot must be delivered to the municipal clerk no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day. You will need to show acceptable Photo ID.

Absentee Voting By Mail

If you choose to voter an absentee ballot by mail, you must make a request in writing or fill out an absentee ballot request form and send it to your municipal clerk. You may request an absentee ballot for a specific election or for all elections within a calendar year. Your completed absentee ballot must be delivered no later than 8 p.m. on Election Day. The U.S. Postal Service recommends absentee ballots be mailed one week before Election Day to arrive in time.

INITIAL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GENERAL OBLICATION BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $60,000,000 BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Education of the School District of Waukesha, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, that there shall be issued, pursuant to Chapter 67, Wisconsin Statutes, General Obligation Bonds in an amount not to exceed $60,000,000 for the public purpose of paying the cost of improving safety and security at District elementary, middle and high schools which includes equipment upgrades, building renovations and improvements; upgrades, additions, remodeling and renovations at Les Paul Central Campus, Horning and Butler Middle Schools; heating, ventilation and air conditioning upgrades, classroom/lab relocation and additions at South High School; site and surface improvements at various school buildings; and acquisition and installation of fixtures and equipment. "Shall the foregoing resolution of the Board of Education of the School District of Waukesha be approved?"
