1. Casper College is one step closer to offering four year degrees (wyomingpublicmedia.org) — Casper College is moving toward offering its first-ever four-year Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in agribusiness and human services, potentially starting in fall 2027. Local students who can't or don't want to leave Casper could soon complete a full bachelor's program here, aligned with Natrona County workforce needs and pending final approval from the Wyoming Community College Commission.
   

2. (PHOTOS) KWHS Marching Band competes in northern Colorado festival over weekend (oilcity.news) — Kelly Walsh High School's Trojan Marching Band, representing Casper, traveled to northern Colorado this weekend as the first out-of-state group to compete in the Fossil Ridge Marching Band Festival. About 150 Casper students and staff hauled instruments and props for the early-season performance, ultimately earning fifth place and valuable judges' feedback as they prepare for upcoming competitions in Wyoming.

Casper PD Incident Report logs (9/18/26-9/21/26) (oilcity.news) — Casper residents can review a detailed breakdown of police calls from Sept. 18–21, including traffic stops, thefts, family fights, structure fires, and other incidents across neighborhoods like Cy Avenue, E. 2nd Street, and Casper Mountain Road. The report summarizes when and where calls came in, helping you understand recent public safety activity without revealing exact addresses or sensitive details.
   

4. Natrona Converse Outdoor Recreation Collaborative Hosts Oct. 3 Cleanup of Coal Mountain Road (wyo.gov) — Casper-area residents are invited to help clean up a heavily used shooting area along Coal Mountain Road on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers will meet directly on Coal Mountain Road outside Casper, where organizers will provide bags, water jugs, and a dump trailer, while asking participants to bring gloves, tools, and—if possible—trucks or trailers to haul debris.
   

5. WATCH: Wyoming's T-6 At The Roswell Air Races (k2radio.com) — A historic T-6 racing plane long tied to Wyoming aviation is still based in Casper and has returned to competition at the National Championship Air Races in Roswell, New Mexico. Now owned and flown by Virgil Tatman of Casper, the Wyoming Wildcatter recently finished sixth in the T-6 Gold race, keeping Casper's name visible on the national air-racing stage.
