• $50K bond issued to woman police say caused Aug. car crash leading to serious injury (capcity.news) — Cheyenne police say an Aug. 12 crash on College Drive that seriously injured a Subaru driver stemmed from a dispute and chase, leading to felony aggravated assault and other charges against 30-year-old Aulisa Trevino Carabajal. Court records show she already faced a $50,000 bond in a separate vehicle theft case, and her total bond is now $100,000 while she remains presumed innocent.

Local energy and mining representatives warn such a move could raise, not lower, fuel costs that are already squeezing maintenance budgets and pushing diesel above $6 per gallon statewide.
