• Laramie County weekly arrest report (8/21/26–8/28/26) (capcity.news) — Cheyenne-area readers can now see the latest week's arrest log from Laramie County agencies, covering alleged offenses ranging from DUI and probation violations to domestic violence and property crimes. Names and recommended charges are listed, though officials stress the log isn't comprehensive and excludes juveniles, certain sensitive cases, and those who bonded out before information was released.

• How 50,000 Glass Photo Negatives Of Cheyenne's Early History Landed In The Dump (cowboystatedaily.com) — Cheyenne's early decades were richly documented by a local photo studio whose portraits and city scenes once filled an archive of some 50,000 glass negatives, many later dumped during the Depression. Wyoming State Archives staff in Cheyenne are still piecing together what survives, uncovering rare images of local life while hoping more long-forgotten family collections resurface.

• GIRLS SWIMMING: Addy DeLay, Central win Laramie Pentathlon (wyomingnews.com) — Cheyenne high school swimmers had a big day, with Central's Addy DeLay winning the Laramie Pentathlon individual title and leading the Indians to a narrow team victory. Multiple Central swimmers hit state-qualifying times, while Cheyenne East's Stella Courtney and Cheyenne South's Charlee White also posted strong performances for their Cheyenne teams.
