UW Haub School to Host Mountainfilm on Tour Oct. 1-2 (uwyo.edu) — Mountainfilm on Tour is coming back to Laramie's Gryphon Theatre Oct. 1–2, with free evening screenings hosted by UW's Haub School. Each night features a different set of adventure and conservation documentaries aimed at sparking conversation about our relationship with the environment and inspiring community members to think about a more resilient future.

Raymond Avery (November 7, 1964 – September 22, 2026) (wyo4news.com) — A man born in Laramie in 1964, Raymond Avery later settled in Rock Springs, serving in the U.S. Army and working for the State of Wyoming before retiring. He is remembered for his love of the outdoors, pinball machines, antique marbles, and Sunday gatherings with family and friends; his family will hold private services and invites online condolences.
