• Rawlins Council Approves More Funds to Water Pipeline Project (bigfoot99.com) — Rawlins residents will see more work on their main Sage Creek water pipeline after City Council unanimously approved a $79,200 change order for additional electrical resistance testing and repairs. Officials say the funding should pinpoint and fix corrosion issues without major excavation, as part of a broader multi‑million‑dollar effort to secure the city's long‑term drinking water supply. 
• Sue Ellen 'Sudy' Bruns (seguintoday.com) — A woman born in Rawlins Sue Ellen "Sudy" Bruns, has passed away at age 83 in Seguin, Texas, leaving a large extended family. Loved ones will gather for a memorial service on October 5 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Seguin, with friends invited to honor her life and, if they wish, donate to local Seguin organizations in her name.
