2 DWI Checkpoints in NH This Weekend
Police have held multiple checkpoints across the state this summer.

Two sobriety checkpoints will be held in New Hampshire this weekend.
One will be held in Portsmouth; the other in Salem.
The checkpoint were authorized by a judge. State Police and local police agencies will conduct them according to guidelines from the Attorney General.

Per usual policy, police did not reveal the exact date or time of the checkpoints.
In a statement, police said apprehending drunk drivers is a “top priority.”

“Sobriety checkpoints are one of the best methods of deterring the impaired,” police said.
