12 Arrested at NH State Police Sobriety Checkpoint

New Hampshire State Police screened more than 600 vehicles on the Seacoast last night looking for drunk drivers.

The New Hampshire State Police Department held its fifth sobriety checkpoint this season on Route 1A in Seabrook on July 10, 2015, and netted 12 individuals from New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts on various charges, according to a report.

The following individuals were arrested and charged during the checkpoint:

  • Brandon Shaw, 22, of Windham, ME, for driving while intoxicated and open container
  • Stephen Quinlan, 60, of Saugus, MA, for DWI
  • Rosaly Rodriguez, 31, of Dracut, MA, for DWI
  • Rachel Walker, 21, of Stoneham, MA, for DWI
  • David Alexandrovich Jr., 48, of Worcester, MA, for DWI
  • Jacob Clough, 22, of Lowell, MA, for DWI
  • Katherine McTigue, 20, of Gloucester, MA, for DWI
  • Hope Glennon, 40, of Merrimack, for DWI
  • Amanda Rubert, 29, of Lowell, MA, for possession of controlled drug
  • John Emmons, 19, of Windham, ME, for possession of controlled drug
  • Tabitha Romano, 26, of Manchester, for disobeying an officer and operating after suspension
  • Shawtabdee Ahmed, 41, of Lowell, MA, for simple assault and resisting arrest

Those charged are all scheduled to be arraigned in Seabrook District Court on Aug. 6.

According to Lt. Christopher Vetter of the NHSP, a total of 661 vehicles were stopped and screened during the checkpoint.
