• ‘THE SKY'S THE LIMIT': West Limestone secures 1st state tournament berth since 2003 (enewscourier.com) — Albertville hosted the Class 4A East Regional where West Limestone’s softball team clinched its first state tournament berth since 2003 with a 6-3 win over Cherokee County. The Wildcats, who later fell to Plainview, now head to Oxford’s Choccolocco Park to face powerhouse Orange Beach.
