Police Make Arrests In Connection To Civil Unrest, Looting
Birmingham police released the names of 10 people accused of looting local businesses during civil unrest in the city June 1.
BIRMINGHAM, AL — Birmingham police released the identities of 10 people arrested in connection with civil unrest in the city and subsequent looting of local businesses.
Sgt Rod Mauldin of the Birmingham Police Department said Birmingham detectives conducted an extensive investigation which yielded multiple arrest from incidents that occurred during civil unrest on June 1.
Mauldin said investigations surrounding looting and other crimes of vandalism are ongoing.

The names released:
- Rangine Poole, 18, accused of looting ABC Select Spirits on 3rd Avenue North
- Undra Shanta Ward, 28, accused of looting ABC Select Spirits on 3rd Avenue North
- David D’Angelo Bishop, 20, accused of looting Family Pawn Shop on Springville Road
- Darcy Monique Gibbs, 19, accused of looting Foot Locker on Bessemer Road
- Taderius O'Neal Anthony, 35, accused of looting the CVS on Bessemer Road
- Decorylus Cardell Clay, 21, accused of looting the CVS on Bessemer Road
- Benjamin Harrison, 55, accused of looting the CVS on Bessemer Road
- Carlos Dion Roscoe, accused of looting the CVS on Bessemer Road
- O’Brian Allen Dunagan, 21, accused of burglary and escape
- Tedarrion Jemmell Roper, 21, accused of looting Freeway Honda on Ensley Avenue
Mauldin said more arrests are expected.
