Local Musicians Pay Tribute To Tom Petty At Charity Event
Birmingham musicians will be on hand at Saturn to pay tribute to the late Tom Petty.

BIRMINGHAM, AL - A host of local musicians will pay tribute to the late Tom Petty Tuesday night at Saturn, in a show that will benefit the American Heart Association.
Saturn, located in Birmingham's Avondale district, has hosted several events like this one, often honoring recently deceased musicians. The venue held a Prince tribute night and a David Bowie night when each of these legendary artists passed away last year.
Admission to the event is free, but a donation to the American Heart Association is appreciated. Doors open at 6:30 and the show is scheduled to start at 7:00. While the participating musicians have yet to be announced, some of the city's most prominent names in the music scene have taken part in these types of tribute nights in the past.
