Shelby County Cattlemens Rodeo; Shelby County Exhibition Center, Columbiana, 7 p.m.: Check out the Annual Shelby County Cattlemen’s Rodeo Friday and Saturday in Columbiana.

Rumours; Iron City, Birmingham, 8 p.m.: See one of the best Fleetwood Mac tribute bands around live at Iron City.

CatVideoFest2020; Sidewalk Cinema, Birmingham, 7 p.m.: CatVideoFest is a compilation reel of the latest and best cat videos culled from countless hours of unique submissions and sourced animations, music videos and, of course, classic internet powerhouses.

Saturday, Feb. 29

Birmingham Bulls Hockey; Pelham Civic Complex, Pelham, 7 p.m.: The Birmingham Bulls take on the Macon Mayhen in Southern Professional Hockey League action.

Cottontail's Village Arts and Crafts Show; BJCC Legacy Arena, Birmingham, 12 p.m.: Area exhibitors get to show off their new spring merchandise with more than 500 booths. Children's and women's clothing along with many more items are on display at this show.

UAB Baseball; Regions Field, Birmingham, 1 p.m.: The UAB Blazers take on Miami (OH) at Regiosn Field.

Sunday, March 1

Samford University Baseball; Joe Lee Griffin Field, Homewood, 1 p.m.: The Samford Bulldogs host Northern Kentucky.

Teen Dungeons and Dragons; Homewood Public Library, Homewood, 1 p.m.: Join area teens playing the classic game of Dungeons and Dragons.

Guitar: The Instrument that Rocked the World; McWane Science Center, Birmingham: Experience the science of sound and the cultural impact of the guitar by exploring more than 70 instruments and 100 historical artifacts-ranging from the rare and antique to the wildly popular.
